Lesson 28: God's Love is Eternal, part 8

The sixth reason why some people say God's love is not eternal is because they have forgotten the clear passages.

Read what God has to say about the security of our salvation:

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

John 6:37 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never cast out."

John 10:28 "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand."

Romans 8:35, 38-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword…For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

1 Corinthians 1:8 "who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ?'

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 "And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee."

Ephesians 1:14 "Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory."

Philippians 1:6 "And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ:”

2 Timothy 4:18 "The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

Hebrews 7:25 "Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."

Hebrews 9:12 "He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption."

Hebrews 9:15 "Therefore He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant."

1 Peter 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you."

1 Peter 1:8-9 "Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

1 John 5:13 "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life."

God's love for His children endures forever! This is the awesome message we get to tell others: God not only exists, but through Jesus Christ people really can have an intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the universe before it's too late!

Thought Question: Whom do you want to tell of God’s great love for us as soon as possible?
