Here are two more Practice Messages. The top message is a Facebook message which does not
require a subject line.
- Facebook messages have a limit of 2000 characters although 500 or less get better responses.
- Facebook will not send a message to the contact if it is 7 days or more since the Contact last
wrote. It is a good strategy to send a second message within a day or two to the Contact.
For this exercise, assume it is within the 7-day limit. Email replies can be up to 5000 characters
long, but we recommend keeping them much shorter since they will most likely be read on a
cell phone.

- Are they in a Sensitive Country? (subject line for email Contacts). I recommend keeping all
subject lines free of Christian terms just to be safe.
- Did you include an open-ended question and encourage them to write back?
- Is your tone friendly and the content of your reply easy to understand?
- Is there room for an appropriate scripture or short prayer? (optional)
- Is the length of your response reasonable?
- Should this contact be reassigned?
