I hope you are doing great, and that you are growing in your understanding of Jesus.
We saw in the last message that Jesus claimed to be equal with God. If this is true, we need to listen closely to what he says.
Jesus boldly claimed, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!" (John 14:6-7) Simply put, Jesus said, “If you see Me, you have seen the Father.” (John 14:9)
Other religions give rules to live by, but none of them offers the ultimate solution to man’s sin, or shows us the way to God. Jesus not only shows us the way, He IS the way—the ONLY way. If your choice made a difference only in this life, it wouldn’t matter much. But Jesus, as God the Son, is THE representative of the One God, Creator of everything, and as we have already seen, our decision to follow Jesus (or not) has eternal results.
