There is no sin or amount of sin too great for God to forgive. God sent His son Jesus to the world not for the perfect, but for sinners. Jesus said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick…I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Mark 2:17).
Jesus hung on the cross next to a criminal. Though this criminal was deserving of death, because he believed in Jesus as the Son of God, Jesus told him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).
There is nothing you can do that is too big for God to forgive. He wants to forgive you and give you an abundant and guilt-free life. You just need to confess your sins to Him—tell Him what you have done—and ask Him to forgive you. Ask Jesus to be your Savior and your King, and He will set you free from the judgment and penalty for your sins. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). God is able and willing to forgive you; you only need to ask Him.
